Becoming a Rotarian

If you want to make a positive difference in our community and around the world and have fun doing so, then you should consider joining the Pine River Valley Centennial Rotary.

Why Join Rotary?

Rotary is a club for people who want to help make the world a better place and to have some fun doing it. We focus on finding practical ways to improve our community and to support projects in other communities. Rotary is a non-political, non-religious organization, and Rotarians enjoy meeting new people and learning about the great variety of ways to live, thrive, and have fun in the world.

Joining Rotary promotes the expansion of relationships within the Pine River Valley community, presents opportunities to support local businesses and gives back to the community through financial support and local service projects.

What We Look For In Our Members

Rotarians are dedicated to making our community better for everyone. We want to reach outside our community to make things better for people there as well.

Rotarians are people of action. They do not worry about titles and accolades; rather, they are motivated by the need to get things done and feel they are making a difference. Rotarians like to give of themselves and to serve others. They tend to think of their own abilities as gifts that should be shared with others. Rotarians are inclusive. They recognize the value of all people and all honest efforts.

Frequently Asked Questions

The membership dues are $300 per year to be a member of Rotary. Club member dues are divided between expense fees to Rotary International and also include funds for our support of in-bound students and for our club’s own operational expenses.

What if I don’t know a current PRVC Rotary member or am new to the area?

We still invite you to fill out the “Join PRVC Rotary” form above, and a representative will reach out to make a connection and see if you’ll be a good fit with our Rotary Club.

What if I can’t attend your Club Meetings?

We meet every Wednesday at noon and have a monthly dinner meeting. We have no minimum on how many meetings you attend, and there are other ways for our members to participate throughout the year during our many social events and volunteer opportunities. We don’t want to discourage your participation, and you are more than welcome whether you can make all of our meetings, or not.
